Jamey Adkins
A life-long resident of King, Jamey graduated from Barber School in 1997. His career started in the basement cutting hair for friends (free) before attending Barber School. After working at a few shops in Winston-Salem, Jamey opened Thruway Barbershop in Mt Airy in 2009. When the opportunity arose to be a part of the Don’s Barbershop Team, Jamey jumped at the chance. Now he is close to home and can spend more time with his beautiful wife, Christy, and his 4 youngsters. Jamey’s excellent barber skills coupled with his passion for customer service make him a perfect fit at Don’s Barbershop in King, NC.
Jake Ganey
Jake has spent most of his life growing up in King. After graduating from West Stokes High School in 2009, he spent some time working and attending college while trying to decide a career path to take. With the helpful influence of a neighbor he was introduced to the world of barbering. He attended Maestro’s Barber University in 2016 and very quickly realized his passion for the trade. He is looking forward to providing top quality services to the local community. When Jake is not working he likes to spend my time with family and friends, fishing and playing music.
